  • New parameter MerchantTaxId added. Contains the merchant's VAT registration number or tax identification number for Visa and Mastercard. Mandatory for domestic transactions in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg where the merchant and cardholder are in the same country.

  • New response code TK. Transaction rejected by Visa. This code is returned when Visa rejects a transaction. This was previously covered by the AY response code.
  • MerchantAmexSEID is now mandatory when AmexAsAPaymentFacilitator is enabled. The Amex Service Establishment ID must be provided in the request.
  • SCA exemptions support added for TransType 1B (Token Transactions). See SCA Exemptions.

  • CAVD data is now required in 3D-secure attempt transactions. Failing to include CAVD in transaction type 16 authorizations will from now on result in response code AD.

  • Stored credential framework expanded. Now all merchant initiated transactions can be made using stored credentials. Previously only recurring, installment and crendential of file transactions where part of the framework. Resubmission, incremental, delayed charges, reauthorization and no show transactions are now included with the addition of a new parameter StoredCredential. We have reorganized the explanatory chapters on both merchant initiated transactions and stored credentials.
